He is a lawyer in the Tax Law and Business Consulting Department of the firm. He specializes in the financial-tax field and in business internationalization from the commercial and tax fields.
He has extensive experience in corporate restructuring and reorganization operations, international taxation and tax litigation. With more than fifteen years of experience as a consulting lawyer, he has completed his career as an in-house manager of a multinational, having participated in international expansion projects, definition of corporate processes and policies and professionalization of the legal and tax field.
He began his career in Galicia as an independent consultant and later moved to Madrid, where he was part of the Tax Department of Garrigues. He has worked as a lawyer in the Basque Country and has been global director of Corporate Taxation for a Galician multinational. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked as a certified manager in organizational change management projects associated with the legal and tax field. He belongs to the Association of Interim Managers of Spain and is an independent director of companies.
He holds a degree in Economic-Business Law from the University of Vigo, a Master's Degree in Legal Consulting for Companies from the IE Business School in Madrid and a Master's Degree in Tax Consulting for Companies from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. He has participated as a speaker in numerous courses and seminars and has been a professor in the Master's Degree in Business Law at Garrigues in collaboration with Harvard Law School.
