We are the firm chosen by the Spanish Confederation of Freight Transport (CETM).
In coordination with the other departments of the firm, we have a department with more than 40 lawyers who specialize in resolving complex litigation disputes as well as those involving a large number of affected parties and the management of a high volume of files.
In the field of Competition Law, we manage complex litigation processes claiming damages arising from infringements of competition law , especially against cartels. Over the last 6 years, our firm has become the national firm that has managed or is in the process of managing the largest number and amount of claims for damages arising from cartels in Spain.
CCS Abogados has also signed an agreement with the litigation fund ALI | Antitrust Litigation Investment, with the Italian law firm Studio Legale Scoccini & Associati and with the economic consultancy firm FIDERES to claim in Spain the damages and losses caused to hundreds of companies by the “Italian corrugated cardboard packaging cartel”.
CCS Abogados has also won the competition held by the Community of Extremadura in April 2023 to claim damages caused by the “adult diaper cartel” to the Extremadura Health Service.
We have participated in the competition held by ADIF (Ministry of Public Works) to select the office that will process the claims of the so-called “AVE cartel” that affects 272 public tenders related to the execution of construction projects, the maintenance of electrification facilities and railway electromechanical equipment of the AVE network, as well as the maintenance of the Conventional Train network. Our office has been the highest rated in the competition.
In the field of Tax and Administrative Litigation Law, we manage the individual legal claims of hundreds of transport companies affected by the so-called “health cent”, having processed and obtained the refund of said Tax in the Supreme Court. We have also managed the claims of thousands of transport companies for the refund of the Gipuzkoa tolls annulled by the High Court of Justice of the Basque Country.
In the field of Consumer Law, we have processed thousands of cases for Multi-Currency Mortgages and other banking products. Since the end of 2011, we have been positioned nationally as a reference firm, having processed a multitude of cases involving the placement of risky financial products.
